About the position

The FOH Team Member at Daily Provisions is responsible for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves collaborating with the leadership team to maintain a culture of hospitality, ensuring efficient operations at all Front of House stations, and engaging positively with guests. The position requires a blend of service skills, menu knowledge, and the ability to handle various responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Maintain efficiency and grace with a sense of urgency throughout service.
• Use strong communication and listening skills to deliver accurate messaging to guests and teammates.
• Understand all menu items and how they are served or packaged.
• Engage positively with guests at the expediting counter and manage their expectations.
• Demonstrate enlightened salesmanship by informing guests about additional offerings.
• Understand Department of Health (DOH) food safety standards.
• Exhibit a warm and welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Provide hospitality and maintain emotional self-awareness under pressure.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in kitchens and/or service in a restaurant.
• Problem-solving and delegation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ideally in two or more languages.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds.
