About the position

The FOIA & Privacy Analyst position at Arcetyp LLC involves providing comprehensive privacy support, including drafting privacy compliance documentation and managing FOIA and Privacy Act requests. The role requires a strong understanding of privacy laws and the ability to work autonomously in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive privacy support including drafting Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA), Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), and System of Records Notices (SORNs).
  • Intake, review, and analyze FOIA and Privacy Act requests.
  • Research and interpret applicable agency policies, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Engage relevant agency stakeholders to locate requested records and ensure appropriate disclosure of sensitive personal information.
  • Maintain a complete and accurate administrative record of disclosure requests and provide status reports.
  • Prepare Privacy Act disclosure correspondence and other communications.
  • Work autonomously and efficiently with minimal input from program leadership.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of general work experience.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience processing Privacy Act disclosure requests in federal service or equivalent public/private sector.
  • Experience with FOIA and Privacy Act tools such as Adobe Pro, FIPS, FIRST, FOIAXpress, FOIAonline, and Relativity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
  • High school diploma required; a four-year college degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification.
