About the position
The Food Access Program Manager at Fresh Approach is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the organization's farmers' market and mobile farmers' market programs across Santa Clara, Contra Costa, and San Mateo Counties. This role involves direct supervision of staff and community ambassadors, ensuring the successful implementation of programs that meet grant and contract deliverables, and fostering an inclusive environment for diverse community members.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage farmers' market and mobile farmers' market programs.
- Supervise 3-4 staff members and a rotating cohort of community ambassadors/interns.
- Implement programs to meet grant and contract project deliverables.
- Assist in required reporting on project activities.
- Conduct routine visits to program sites as needed.
Requirements
- Supervisory personnel management experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) conversational fluency.
