About the position

The Food and Beverage General Manager & Outlets Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the smooth operation of all dining outlets. This role involves managing multiple food and beverage venues within the hotel, driving performance, and maintaining high service standards. Both positions are crucial for the success of the food and beverage department and ensuring guest satisfaction across all outlets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the food and beverage management team, setting schedules, assigning responsibilities, and driving overall performance.
  • Ensure all hotel food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, catering, and room service, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of all equipment, furnishings, and facilities within the food and beverage department.
  • Recruit, train, and develop managers and supervisors within the department, fostering a culture of excellence and service.
  • Oversee employee relations, manage performance evaluations, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Control food and beverage inventory, manage costs, and optimize profitability for all outlets.
  • Work closely with corporate leaders on budgeting, strategic planning, and other key initiatives for the food and beverage department.
  • Ensure consistent and exceptional guest service across all dining outlets, creating memorable experiences for hotel guests.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the overall success of the food and beverage operations.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Current food handler's or ServeSafe certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Food and Beverage General Manager or Outlets Manager in a high-volume hotel environment (managing $15M+ in revenue).
  • Ability to lift at least 60 pounds.
