About the position

The Food Assistant Store Manager at Nouria Energy is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store's food service areas, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and controlling operational costs. This role requires strong leadership skills to build and motivate a high-performing team while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of all Food Service Areas including Made to Order Food, Commissary Food, Bakery, and Dispensed Beverages.
• Deliver superior customer service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Organize and supervise shifts, appraising staff performance and providing feedback.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and control operational costs.
• Order and maintain proper inventory levels for goods and supplies.
• Enforce company procedures and protocols as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Greet every customer with a smile and promote specials to enhance customer experience.
• Ensure safety and security of the store and document any incidents that occur.
• Conduct regular inspections for workplace hazards and initiate corrective actions.

Requirements

• SERV Safe Certification
• Proven service experience as a shift lead in a food/beverage environment
• Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
• Ability to troubleshoot minor problems
• Customer service experience of at least 1 year
• State Drivers License (Required)
