As a Food & Beverage Cast Member - Seater at Walt Disney World, you will be the first point of contact for Guests entering our table service dining locations. Your role is crucial in setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience. You will greet and escort Guests to their tables, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. This position requires a high level of Guest engagement, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking, all of which are essential for your success in this fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for answering questions regarding menu items and food products, utilizing PCs and tablets to navigate reservation and table management systems. Your duties will also include escorting Guests to their seats, assisting with the delivery of menus, and completing various opening and closing tasks. This role involves bussing tables, pouring beverages, running food, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. You will also handle cash and other forms of payment to assist fellow Cast Members. Upholding the location's theming is vital, and you will play a significant role in maintaining the overall atmosphere of the dining experience. As a Food & Beverage Cast Member, you will work with various food products and allergens, including beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, and dairy. You may also assist in Room Service locations, taking orders for Guests at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and managing room service trays. This position requires physical stamina, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and prolonged standing and walking, often in both indoor and outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
