About the position
The Food and Beverage Manager (FBM) is responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of a convenience store, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The FBM plays a crucial role in achieving sales targets and maintaining food cost goals while promoting a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the General Manager to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and meets sales targets and food cost goals.
- Training, supervising, and evaluating store staff to ensure efficiency and customer focus.
- Scheduling employees to maintain adequate staffing during peak business periods.
- Ensuring all products are stocked, labeled, and displayed properly in various areas of the store.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering new stock as necessary.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns promptly.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and store environment.
- Managing cash registers and performing cash management tasks.
- Conducting regular safety and security checks in the store.
- Enforcing store policies and procedures and addressing violations.
- Analyzing sales trends to maximize sales and reduce wastage.
- Passing all station certifications and administering tests to crew members.
- Updating the General Manager about store affairs and any issues affecting operations.
Requirements
- Experience in leadership roles within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
