About the position

The Food & Beverage Outlet Manager at Fairmont is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing staff performance, inventory, and cost control. This role requires strong leadership skills to inspire a high-performing team and implement strategies for revenue maximization and compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department.
• Handle guest concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff for a guest-focused team.
• Implement strategies to increase revenue while managing costs.
• Collaborate with clients for event requirements and execution.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hotel policies.
• Monitor stock levels and manage inventory and supply chain.

Requirements

• University degree in Hotel/Restaurant management or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as Manager in a high volume Food & Beverage operation, preferably within luxury hotels.
• Strong ability to manage teams effectively, focusing on coaching and mentoring employees.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Proficient in food planning, purchasing, sanitation, and personnel management.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of CBA compliance and experience managing unionized teams.
