About the position

The Food & Beverage Steward position at Hilton Grand Vacations is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional service to guests and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various dining and service areas. This position is integral to creating memorable vacation experiences for owners and guests at the Mystic Dunes resort, which features 986 suites and extensive amenities. The role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service, with responsibilities that include cleaning, sanitizing, and supporting management in adhering to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning tables, filling ice, and emptying trash.
  • Transporting bus tubs to the kitchen.
  • Sanitizing pots and pans, and cleaning floors according to state guidelines.
  • Cleaning designated equipment, sinks, refrigerators, freezers, service areas, lobby bar, Marketplace, pool bar, and grill, as well as walls and floors.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Wiping down shelves, counters, and windows.
  • Removing items that do not belong and placing them in appropriate areas.
  • Supporting management to meet all policies set by HGV and the State Department of Health.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 6 months of customer service experience in a food & beverage position.
  • Ability to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Food & Beverage proven experience and knowledge.
  • Food Safety Certification.
