About the position

The Food & Beverage Supervisor at Odysea Lounge, Hilton San Diego Bayfront, is responsible for overseeing the operations of the lounge, ensuring exceptional guest service and financial profitability. This role involves supervising team members, managing inventory, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, all while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, support, schedule, and assign daily work to team members in all restaurant activities and operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate team member performance.
  • Assist team members in handling guest inquiries and resolving complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Manage product quality and service satisfaction trends, addressing issues and making improvements as needed.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of restaurant/bar leadership experience.
  • Strong beverage background and ability to work behind the bar when needed.
  • RBS/Food Handlers certifications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
