About the position

The Food & Beverage Team Leader at The Westin Perth Hotel is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences in a luxury setting. This role involves overseeing the Food & Beverage team, ensuring high standards of service, and managing various aspects of the dining operations, particularly in the Haven Lobby Lounge. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a focus on food, wine, and beverage knowledge, and will be dedicated to enhancing guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of 5-star service in the Food & Beverage department.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Haven Lobby Lounge.
• Manage stock control and amenities setup.
• Ensure high standards of food, wine, and beverage service.
• Train and mentor team members to maintain service excellence.
• Work collaboratively within the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain calm and accuracy under pressure.

Requirements

• Previous experience in supervisor or team leader positions is advantageous.
• Exceptional food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
• Coffee skills are highly regarded.
• Experience with High Tea service is advantageous.
• Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.
• Understanding of cost of goods and pricing.
• Genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a team and follow direction.
• Innovative mindset while adhering to established guidelines.
• Hardworking, dedicated, and professional in all aspects of work.
