About the position

The Food Operations Manager at SodexoMAGIC is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food service at Miami International Airport's Delta Sky Clubs/Lounges. This role involves managing a team of hourly employees, ensuring compliance with service standards, and maintaining high-quality food and beverage offerings. The manager will also handle labor cost management, scheduling, inventory, and financial reporting while fostering strong guest relations and client interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food operations and ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Manage labor cost, scheduling, and inventory for the lounge operations.
  • Train, motivate, and develop hourly staff including supervisors and food attendants.
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo and airline client service standards.
  • Maintain client and customer relationships to achieve financial targets and goals.
  • Monitor service quality and implement improvements as necessary.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of management experience in food service.
  • 1 year of work experience in food or culinary services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in upscale hospitality venues such as hotels or restaurants.
  • Knowledge of automated food inventory and management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
