About the position
The Food Operations Manager 3 position at SodexoMagic involves overseeing daily food operations at a healthcare facility in Northwest Indiana. The role focuses on delivering high-quality food products, achieving financial targets, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The successful candidate will lead and develop frontline staff, manage both front and back of house operations, and demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product.
- Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
- Develop and maintain client and customer relationships.
- Motivate, coach, mentor, and develop frontline (hourly) staff.
- Ensure compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of management experience.
- 3 years of work experience in food or culinary services.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication skills.
- Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
