About the position

The Food Program Manager at Respond, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the implementation, coordination, management, and evaluation of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This role is essential in ensuring compliance with CACFP guidelines and maintaining accurate records, while also providing training and support to staff. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and involves a variety of administrative and monitoring tasks to support the organization's mission of promoting economic independence and welfare in Camden City and County.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall implementation and coordination of the CACFP program.
• Monitor the CACFP program budget and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Prepare and submit necessary reports related to the program.
• Review enrollment data for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all sites adhere to CACFP guidelines and maintain accurate records.
• Complete and submit annual CACFP re-certification applications.
• Update the CACFP Procedures Manual as needed.
• Provide staff training and on-site program monitoring.
• Collaborate with Intake, Fiscal, and Child Development Centers for proper program administration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with CACFP preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer literacy including proficiency in databases, Word, Excel, and the Internet.
