The Food Runner/Busser position is essential in a fast-paced restaurant environment, focusing on delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, contributing to an exceptional dining experience by collaborating with kitchen and service staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist servers in managing table needs, including refilling drinks and clearing empty dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the expediting station.
• Help with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations will be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented setting.
