About the position
The Food Runner position at K-Pot involves serving patrons by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety policies, delivering food to tables, and assisting in maintaining a smooth dining experience. The role requires teamwork, extensive menu knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean tables and dining areas promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain extensive menu knowledge to assist guests with inquiries.
- Perform bathroom checks at least once per hour and rectify any issues immediately.
- Assemble and clean busser carts for service preparation.
- Ensure sufficient grills are available in the dining area during service.
- Assist servers and bartenders in maintaining their sections throughout the shift.
- Multi-task and monitor several tables during the dining experience.
- Initiate breakdown of tables within 3 minutes of guest departure.
- Provide departing guests with a sincere thank you and invitation to return.
- Break down and reset the dining room for the next day's service.
Requirements
- Prior experience with a restaurant group is a plus.
- No prior restaurant experience is necessary, but 1+ years of experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
- Driver's License is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in sales is a plus.
