About the position

Hongdae 33 KBBQ is looking for a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The Food Runner is essential in ensuring that guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards before serving.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations between the kitchen and dining area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on guest services and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is beneficial.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
