ICF is seeking a Food Security Survey Data Analyst to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. This full-time, hybrid position is integral to our USAID-funded Surveys for Monitoring in Resilience and Food Security (SMRFS) project, which is part of the Feed the Future initiative aimed at reducing global hunger and improving food security. The successful candidate will analyze population-based survey data collected from households around the globe, contributing to the understanding and improvement of food security in targeted areas where the U.S. Government and its partners invest in agriculture, resilience, and nutrition. As a member of the SMRFS Team, you will collaborate with local survey implementing organizations to conduct population-based surveys (PBS) and work closely with USAID to enhance and expand publicly available survey guidance materials. Additionally, you will work alongside the Capacity Strengthening Advisor to enhance the analytical capabilities of USAID mission staff, implementing partners, host country governments, and local civil society organizations. This position also includes leading ad hoc and in-depth secondary data analyses to support project objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting analyses of large survey datasets using statistical software, reviewing analyses performed by colleagues, performing literature reviews, contributing to survey report writing, and presenting findings to diverse audiences. You will also play a key role in strengthening the data analysis capacity of in-country partners through training and coaching, and may be required to travel to low- and middle-income countries up to 15% of the time.
