About the position

The Food Runner position at Dirty French Steakhouse is essential for maintaining the efficiency of the dining room by ensuring timely delivery of food orders to guests. This role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while enhancing the overall dining experience through attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Verify the accuracy of food orders before serving them to guests.
• Act as the point of contact between the Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Optimize the dining experience for our guests by ensuring timely delivery of food orders.
• Focus on the presentation of the plates to ensure a high-quality dining experience.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Display enthusiasm and knowledge about the restaurant's menu and products.

Requirements

• Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
• Possess and exhibit the drive to provide exceptional service.
• Available to work full-time flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 30 lbs.
• Team-oriented and positive attitude.
• Proficient in computer skills, including POS systems, Word, and Excel.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required.
