About the position
The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Food Services department. This role involves managing the Oracle POS register system, ensuring customer service excellence, processing payroll and invoices, maintaining online menus, and executing catered events as needed. The coordinator will also perform regular audits and manage vendor requests for food service equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of Oracle POS register system including inputting new items and barcodes, auditing prices, and aligning the grab-n-go items.
- Ensure prompt and accurate resolutions to customer service issues with minimal service interruptions.
- Manage EZ Pay café payroll distribution and assist associates with the sign-up process.
- Process invoices and assist with the production of monthly P&L statements.
- Maintain online menu and catering sites.
- Execute catered events on an as-needed basis.
- Perform food service audits regularly and submit maintenance requests for food service equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma; two or more years of college preferred.
- Two years of food service experience with a broad knowledge of food and beverage.
- Superior customer interaction skills with the ability to read customers and adjust experiences accordingly.
- Ability to consistently deliver service standards.
- Ability to lift service-ware or supplies regularly up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation and communication software tools.
