About the position

The Food Service General Manager at TKC Holdings, Inc. is responsible for overseeing multiple food service facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing team training and operations. This role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and adherence to company policies while providing a clear career path and growth opportunities for employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and instruct team members in general food service practices.
• Ensure all team members are adequately trained and capable to perform job responsibilities in a safe and compliant manner.
• Direct team members to ensure job-related rules, policies, procedures, and security guidelines are enforced.
• Maintain product service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints.
• Manage food service operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensure all facilities maintain a sanitary food service environment by following food service and Health Department codes and regulations.
• Ensure all facilities maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity.
• Maintain contract compliance and cost control.
• Perform other duties as determined by the needs of the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School diploma/GED plus equivalent experience required.
• SERV Safe Certified.
• At least five (5) years of food service experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
• Previous multi-unit supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost control is required.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
