About the position

Responsibilities

  • Monitor financial data for the Food Service Department.
  • Establish harmonious relationships with college staff, students, and the public.
  • Respond to work situations with minimum guidance or direction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of commercial food service operations coordination experience, including catering, budget monitoring, and customer relations.
  • Knowledge of County/State/Federal health and safety regulations pertaining to commercial food service operations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Accurate keyboarding, data entry, and word processing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in menu coordination.
  • Experience in facilitating catering planning meetings or BEO meetings.
  • Experience working in a collegiate food service department.
  • Experience with cash handling.
