Food Service Support - Part-Time
About The Position
The Buehler’s Food Service Support is a key position within the Food Service Department, with the opportunity to support Restaurant Operations. They work closely with their manager and co-workers to ensure customers have an exceptional experience while shopping in the store or dining in the restaurant. This role is crucial to the company's strategies of becoming the Best in Food Service and The Freshest Foods. Food Service Support will perform a variety of duties in various Food Service departments, including supporting the kitchen, operating dishwashing equipment, stocking and rotating inventory, and performing cleaning and sanitation tasks. Secondary duties include related activities as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 16 years of age
- You may occasionally be required to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50# and occasionally 80#
- You will need manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
- You don’t mind our kitchen environment that includes equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives…so frequently you will be exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise

Responsibilities
- Buss tables to ensure they are cleaned promptly after customers leave
- Great and Seat guests when needed
- Assist with mentoring new employees
- Ensure the dining room is spotless – table, floors, walls – everything
- Comply with sanitation requirements, health and personal hygiene standards
- Wash all dirty dishes and put them away in their assigned areas
- Put away daily deliveries
- Maintain a spotless area and assist with cleaning as needed in BOH
- Comply with sanitation requirements, health and personal hygiene standards
