The Food Service Worker/Cashier position at Morrison Healthcare involves performing cashiering duties and general food service work in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities
- Perform cashiering duties including sales transactions and issuing receipts.
- Maintain sanitation standards in food preparation and service areas.
- Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients for food preparation.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
- Store foods in designated areas following safety and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure compliance with sanitation requirements.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, resolving complaints as necessary.
- Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness in service areas.
Requirements
- Previous cashier experience is required.
- Experience in stocking and line/bar service is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in food service or healthcare environment is a plus.
