About the position

The Food Services Coordinator at BayCare is responsible for overseeing daily food service operations, ensuring quality control, and managing team members involved in food preparation and distribution. This role includes coordinating training and orientation for staff, monitoring department security, and performing various administrative duties to support the food services team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily food service operations including preparation, distribution, and service to patients and other customers.
  • Oversee and maintain quality control monitors and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Assist with team member functions including interviewing, performance appraisals, disciplinary action, coaching, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate team member orientation, training, and competency assessment.
  • Monitor the overall security of the department.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • ServSafe Manager food safety certification required within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience in food services is essential.
