About the position

The Foodservice Worker position at Brooks Rehab Hospital involves providing exceptional culinary and hospitality services in a busy hospital environment. Team members will engage in various roles including culinary preparation, patient food service, and maintaining dining areas, all while ensuring compliance with dietary instructions and delivering outstanding service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to plating, set up, and tear down of café, restaurant, and retail areas.
• Assist in kitchen tasks including prep, dish room duties, and inventory management.
• Ensure patients receive meals with excellent service and compliance with dietary instructions.
• Assist with meal selection, tray set up, delivery, and removal of food trays.
• Prepare and present meals according to Executive Chef menus and maintain kitchen sanitation.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality or food service is desired but not mandatory.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical statistics for inventory and portioning.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute in various roles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Culinary education or experience in a resort setting is preferred.
