About the position
The Foot & Ankle Sales Representative at Stryker is a dynamic role focused on selling Foot & Ankle products to healthcare professionals, particularly surgeons. This position requires a high level of commitment and intensity, as the representative must become an expert in the product line and effectively communicate its benefits to a sophisticated audience. The role involves meticulous inventory management and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, particularly in operating rooms. The representative is expected to build strong relationships with clients and provide training and advice on product usage, ultimately aiming to improve patient outcomes and healthcare quality.
Responsibilities
- Sell Stryker Foot & Ankle products to meet customer needs.
- Become the resident Foot & Ankle expert for surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Manage and maintain precise inventory control of products.
- Assist customers during operating room consultations with product knowledge.
- Build credibility with surgeons by understanding both Stryker and competitor products.
- Provide advice and training on products and tools used in surgeries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role.
- 3+ years of Sales Experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategies, and product demonstrations.
- Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
- Comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
- Ability to attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours.
- Adhere to compliance and ethical standards.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in surgical settings.
- Familiarity with AdvaMed compliance principles.
