About The Position
The Football Graduate Assistant: Defense position at North Central College is designed for individuals accepted into a graduate program at the institution. The role involves assisting the football program under the supervision of the Assistant Head Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Candidates should have experience playing or coaching football, or possess athletic administrative experience. The position requires current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or eligibility to obtain it. Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential, along with demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Experience in college athletics is strongly preferred, as is a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. The position is expected to work approximately 20 hours per week during the academic year, excluding academic breaks.
