About the position

The Accessory Territory Sales Manager position is a vital role within Southwest Accessories, responsible for selling and promoting Ford Accessories sales processes within Ford Dealerships in the assigned geographical territory. This position combines a salary with commission, providing a competitive pay structure. Additionally, the role includes the provision of a company car and a cell phone allowance, ensuring that the Territory Sales Manager is well-equipped to perform their duties effectively. In this role, the Territory Sales Manager will work closely with dealership personnel to train, advise, and support the sales of Ford Accessories. Each Territory Sales Manager is assigned monthly sales objectives that are tied to the individual objectives of the Ford dealerships they serve. Performance is measured based on the ability to exceed 100% of these assigned territory sales objectives, which is crucial for the success of both the manager and the dealerships. The position requires consulting with dealership managers and executives to enhance Ford Accessories sales processes and identify opportunities for improving dealer profitability. The Territory Sales Manager will also be responsible for developing customized Ford Accessories displays, point-of-sale materials, and incentive programs to support sales within each assigned dealership. Training dealership personnel on Ford Accessories selling processes is a key aspect of the role, which includes engaging with sales staff, parts departments, service departments, and body shops. Furthermore, the Territory Sales Manager will provide local accessory support for divisional and dealer events, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed and equipped to promote Ford Accessories effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and promote Ford Accessories sales processes within Ford Dealerships in the assigned geographical territory.
  • Work closely with dealership personnel to train, advise, and support the sales of Ford Accessories.
  • Meet monthly sales objectives tied to individual Ford dealership objectives.
  • Consult with dealership managers/executives to improve Ford Accessories sales processes and dealer profitability opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an entrepreneurial sales professional is desired, with a basic understanding of dealership operations.
  • A passion for working with and/or selling to dealerships is essential.
  • Expectation to work full-time in the dealerships within the assigned geographical territory.
  • Periodic meetings at the home office in Fort Worth, TX, are required.
  • Candidate should reside in proximity to the assigned geographical territory in the San Antonio region.
  • A degree from a 4-year College/University or equivalent experience is desired.
  • Previous military service is recognized and considered.
