About the position

This hybrid role focuses on promoting and selling Foreign Exchange (FX) services through personal sales efforts and relationship development in business banking. The position is responsible for the growth of retail, private wealth, and commercial FX services, generating significant fee income and supporting the bank's conversion of outgoing wires from USD to foreign currencies. The role also involves training the retail branch network on service offerings and advising on best practices for identifying potential FX conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes FX services to existing and potential customers through various sales techniques.
  • Develops a sales plan to achieve personal business goals and profitability objectives.
  • Seeks out and pursues new business opportunities leveraging market intelligence and industry trends.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key clients and prospects in the assigned portfolio.
  • Executes complex FX transactions, including spot, forward, option, and swap deals.
  • Responsible for creating new products and services to increase revenue.
  • Contributes to Product Development strategy and roadmap.
  • Stays informed about market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events affecting FX markets.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for clients on FX-related matters.
  • Answers inquiries and coordinates sales materials to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Foreign Exchange, FX Trading, Sales, International Payments, and Finance OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Foreign Exchange, FX Trading, Sales, International Payments, and Finance.
  • Understanding of global markets.
  • Knowledge of Commercial FX products.
  • Knowledge of Retail Foreign Exchange products.
  • Sales ability.
