About the position

The Foreign Exchange Senior Digital Product Manager at Wells Fargo is responsible for leveraging expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX) to enhance customer experiences through API validation and collaboration with product owners and technical leaders. This role involves leading projects, managing best practices for API validation environments, and contributing to digital initiatives within the FX domain. The position emphasizes a strong understanding of FX products, digitalization, and compliance requirements, while also allowing for remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Foreign Exchange subject matter expertise to collaborate with and backup other FX product owners.
• Provide API validation environment leadership for positive experiences for external customers and partners.
• Work closely with FX product owners, technical leaders, and business leaders to create meaningful customer value.
• Participate and lead the team to meet project deliverables while leveraging understanding of FX and digital initiatives.
• Collaborate and consult with FX/digital peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Create and manage API validation environment best practices.
• Blend open banking, digitalization, cloud migration, and process reengineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• Four years of experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) digital product management.
• Four years of Foreign Exchange (FX) experience including FX Products, FX Rates, Cross Border Payments, and Settlements.
• Experience supporting or managing API validation environments.
• Experience with Agile practices and frameworks (Kanban, Scrum, user stories) and collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Experience within a large-scale financial institution focusing on online banking, digitalization, cloud, and relevant IT programs including SQL, Postman, and Splunk.
• Technical experience with API protocols and formats including SOAP and REST.
• Experience with Cloud Services, Java, JSON, JavaScript, Microservices, Performance Testing, Shell Scripting, Swift, MongoDB, Apache Tomcat, and XML.
