About the position

The Foreign Military Sales Systems Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton is responsible for combining technical skills with strategic thinking to enhance security cooperation efforts. This role involves designing and developing systems that meet customer needs, particularly in the context of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems. The engineer will lead engineering efforts, evolve systems with advanced technology solutions, and ensure alignment with national defense strategy objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering efforts for security cooperation engagements.
  • Design and develop systems based on customer requirements.
  • Translate real-world needs into technical specifications.
  • Capture and analyze system operational capabilities requirements and constraints.
  • Perform C4I Systems Integration with complex System of Systems (SoS) Architectures.
  • Participate in various Systems Engineering Technical Reviews.
  • Prepare engineering strategies and assist with project budget estimates.
  • Develop work breakdown structures and build program schedules.
  • Manage engineering processes to support timely delivery of technical artifacts.
  • Support Security Cooperation efforts and lead technical teams.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience as a systems engineer supporting C4I systems.
  • 5 years of experience supporting cost estimations for commercial and US Government solutions.
  • Experience with COTS and US Government Program of Record systems.
  • Experience in requirements definition and analysis to develop SOWs.
  • Experience capturing and analyzing system operational capabilities requirements.
  • Experience performing C4I Systems Integration with SoS Architectures.
  • Experience preparing engineering strategies and managing engineering processes.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in austere locations to support Security Cooperation engagements.
  • Experience performing foreign disclosure reviews.
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • PMP Certification.
