FOREMAN - T-1A COMBS - VANCE AFB, OK

About the position

The Foreman for T-1A COMBS at Vance AFB, OK, is responsible for supervising personnel involved in materials stocking, inventory management, and warehouse operations. This role includes providing training and guidance to staff, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and maintaining effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. The Foreman plays a critical role in overseeing warehouse processes and ensuring that delivery schedules are met while also stepping in for the T1A COMBS Manager as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel engaged in materials stocking, inventory, pulling, and movement.
• Provide training in SAP, inventory responsibility, stock handling, and warehouse duties for T1A COMBS personnel.
• Conduct cycle counts of inventory and research out-of-balance conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor procedures for shipping and storage of spare parts and materials.
• Assist in meeting delivery schedules and participate in shelf life/Hazmat programs.
• Greet visitors, new employees, and clients, exhibiting positive behavior.
• Provide guidance, instruction, and supervision to subordinate employees.
• Assist coworkers and other departments in performing job tasks as necessary.
• Follow all safety procedures and practices established by the company and regulatory bodies.
• Identify problem areas within the warehouse and assess if goals and standards are being met.

Requirements

• Two-year degree or certificate from an accredited institution in Business or a related field and four years of warehouse experience, or a high school diploma with six years of warehouse experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Forklift license preferred.
• A&P License preferred.
• Experience in SAP systems and inventory control.
