About the position
As a Foreman on the Telecom Underground team at Lambert's Cable, you will lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. This role emphasizes safety, adherence to project timelines, and effective communication with team members and property owners.
Responsibilities
- Lead crews to meet project timelines
- Help with training of crew members
- Read and understand blueprints
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
- Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities
- Communicate with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
- Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- At least three years of related work experience
- Previous Foreman experience preferred
