About the position

The Forensic Accountant - Director position in Philadelphia involves leading high-stakes investigations and providing expert insights on complex accounting issues within litigation and dispute contexts. This role is designed for a strategic thinker with extensive experience in forensic accounting, who can translate intricate financial data into actionable findings for clients facing significant disputes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee forensic accounting projects, including fraud investigations, economic damage calculations, and business valuations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that address their most pressing challenges.
  • Draft and review expert reports, and potentially serve as an expert witness in arbitration or court proceedings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in forensic accounting or financial investigations, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • CPA, CFE, or CFA required; additional certifications in fraud or forensic accounting are highly desirable.
  • Strong background in forensic accounting within the context of dispute resolution, including experience with litigation support.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with experience delivering findings to clients, legal teams, and in high-stakes environments.
  • Proven experience leading teams, mentoring talent, and fostering a culture of integrity and excellence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional certifications in fraud or forensic accounting are highly desirable.
