We are currently seeking a Forensic Accounting Senior Manager to join our Forensic and Valuation Services Group (FVS Group). This position can be based out of any of our office locations, including Bethesda, MD; Baltimore, MD; Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA; Woburn, MA; Braintree, MA; Encino, CA; or Irvine, CA. The FVS Group is comprised of specialized forensic experts who are responsible for accumulating and analyzing evidence relevant to white-collar criminal cases, from pre-indictment through sentencing. Our forensic professionals play a crucial role in criminal defense teams by uncovering evidence related to criminal intent, assessing financial losses, tracing the sources and uses of funds, applying data analytics, identifying co-conspirators, and consulting with legal counsel for trial preparation. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage forensic accounting engagements from start to finish.
  • Analyze financial data and evidence related to white-collar criminal cases.
  • Consult with legal counsel and provide expert testimony as needed.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to support business development efforts.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members in forensic accounting practices.
  • Conduct investigations into financial discrepancies and fraud.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and legal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting required.
  • CPA License required.
  • CFE or CFF credential preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 - 12 years experience in forensic accounting.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a forensic team.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with strong analytical skills.
  • Market-facing business development skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in data analytics related to forensic accounting.
  • Familiarity with legal processes and court procedures.
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment.
