About the position

As a Forensic Data Analyst at NavitsPartners, you will play a crucial role in conducting detailed forensic analyses across various digital platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include performing email forensics, analyzing file systems, conducting malware investigations, and examining social media for potential security threats. You will be tasked with reporting on security incidents and identifying emerging trends that could impact our clients. Your findings will be documented and communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders, ensuring that all forensic evidence is handled with the utmost care and in accordance with the proper chain of custody protocols. This position requires a proactive approach to incident response and a strong understanding of the security domain, as you will be expected to provide insights that help shape our security strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed forensic analysis including email forensics, file systems, malware analysis, and social media investigations.
• Report on security incidents and emerging trends to management.
• Document and communicate forensic findings to relevant parties.
• Ensure proper chain of custody for forensic evidence.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Dell and/or VMware products.
• Background in incident response.
• Security domain experience.
