The engineer will conduct root cause investigations to identify the underlying problems affecting production and will implement corrective actions to resolve these issues. Additionally, the role involves modifying existing processes and routings to optimize cost, quality, and productivity, ensuring that the company remains competitive in the market. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of a four-year technical degree and at least five years of experience in developing and supporting hot forging processes. Knowledge of hot forging with screw-type presses is preferred, as this will be essential for effectively managing the production processes. The Manufacturing Engineer will also be involved in justifying capital equipment investments to meet production needs, emphasizing the importance of improved methods through technological advancements. Responsibilities

• Support hot forging operations by troubleshooting and resolving production process issues.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

• Conduct root cause investigations for production-related engineering problems.

Requirements

• 4-year technical degree in engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in developing and supporting hot forging processes.
• Knowledge of hot forging with screw-type presses is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot forging presses, tooling, material, and process issues.
• Experience in diagnosing equipment downtime and mechanical issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause investigations.
