About the position

The Fork Lift Driver at Newly Weds Foods is responsible for efficiently meeting shipping goals for customer orders by performing essential shipping and receiving functions. This role requires operating a forklift, managing inventory, and ensuring proper documentation and coding of products.

Responsibilities

• Operates fork lift to load and unload vehicles.
• Ensures all products are properly coded.
• Pulls orders and assists in warehouse placement of stock.
• Assists in inventory and cycle counts.
• Completes all required logs and shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Performs monthly inventory without assistance.
• Assists in pulling ingredients or loading blending platforms when there are no other duties.
• Fills in for supervisor as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of finished goods and raw material storage areas.
• Understands shipping and receiving department processes and paperwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of stand up forklift and load move system.
