Responsibilities

  • Load, store, transport, and deliver units of sheets, in-process materials, and finished boxes.
  • Follow all safety rules and report unsafe issues to the supervisor.
  • Read factory work orders and shipping papers to understand customer requirements.
  • Monitor conveyor take-off lines and load units into trailers or storage.
  • Check load tags and unit counts for accuracy before shipping.
  • Inspect finished units during loading to ensure they are free from damage.
  • Complete loading and composition reports to verify trailer contents.
  • Maintain organized paperwork and generate accurate bills of lading.
  • Deliver materials to production areas as required.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and storage.
  • Perform receiving duties and put away all received materials.
  • Understand and commit to producing food-safe packaging products.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified ability to safely operate a forklift and box clamp truck.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and use basic shop math.
  • Ability to learn and follow instructions effectively.
  • Ability to work safely and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
