Responsibilities

• Maintain and safely operate all vehicles.
• Transport and daily inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure.
• Communicate with dispatchers.
• Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Obtain customer signatures for delivered goods.
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
• Complete and submit all Company paperwork including manifest, bill of lading, proof of delivery, and trip reports.
• Perform the physical process of loading and unloading products as assigned.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid, performing minor repairs, or washing trucks.
• Operate forklift safely.
• Pull orders and load driver trucks based on dispatch routing and tickets.
• Unload and breakdown orders upon delivery.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Pass a drug test
• Pass a background test
• Interest in getting a Class B CDL with Hazmat
• No felonies
