Forklift Driver - C Crew

About the position

The Forklift Driver position involves working in various environments including production, warehouse, or outdoor settings. The role requires the ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high production standards. The shift schedule includes Thursday from 12pm to 6pm and Friday through Sunday from 6am to 6pm.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret charts, graphs, and other data.
• Maintain accurate and legible production records.
• Understand detailed verbal and/or written work instructions.
• Multitask and pay close attention to detail.
• Train on multiple processes and work in multiple cells regularly.
• Exceed production rates while maintaining accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and rework components and finished products.
• Clean the production area during and following each shift.
• Break down/tag items identified as nonconforming.
• Organize and stock materials during and following each shift.
• Read and understand complex sequences and detailed work instructions.
• Train team members on processes.
• Complete routine safety training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience safely driving a forklift in a warehousing or manufacturing environment.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Experience with all types of lifts within the environment.
• Ability to follow detailed processes and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate a high mechanical aptitude, hand dexterity, and visual acuity.
• Ability to work from a seated or standing position for up to 12 hours at a time.
• No restrictions on bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing, or mobility.
• Identify, correct, and report any potential safety or quality risks to leadership immediately.
• Work effectively with others in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Must be willing to work in production or warehouse roles off of the forklift.
• Must be available and willing to work overtime as required by business needs.
