Forklift Driver/Material Handler

About the position

The Material Handler position at Cleer Vision Windows involves ensuring the accuracy of orders, the movement of products, and the proper preparation of materials and parts for shipping. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow supervisor instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety requirements, wearing proper PPE
• Safely lift and carry materials and boxes up to 50 pounds
• Read pick lists and shipping documents in English
• Verify quantity, matching labels, and complete orders prior to shipping
• Identify correct clamp rings/PCRs and verify inclusion with orders
• Prepare orders for shipping including making boxes, wrapping racks, checking labels, re-racking when needed
• Demonstrate competence with standard packaging tools and equipment
• Use a tape measure accurately
• Work mostly independently, without constant supervision
• Ask questions when help is genuinely required
• Advise supervisor of any inaccuracies or discrepancies with orders
• Collaborate with team members and respect others
• Willingness to be cross-trained for other functions as needed
• Lift up to 60 pounds as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Certification
• Strong English reading and writing skills
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
