About the position
As a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will be essential in ensuring efficient operations within our distribution center. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts and heavy equipment to load and unload materials, as well as managing inventory through effective warehouse management practices. Your core skills in materials handling and warehouse experience, combined with premium skills in equipment operation and repair, will contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities
- Unloading Slabs, Tile & Stone from delivery trucks, checking for damage or missing items, and signing delivery notes.
- Preparing orders for shipment, loading orders onto trucks, and labeling outgoing parcels.
- Keeping records of goods, conducting stock control, and using handheld scanners to track inventory.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat.
Requirements
- Experience driving a forklift.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Forklift Certification - 2-3 Years Minimum Forklift Experience.
- Customer Service / Engagement - 3 Years Minimum Experience.
