About The Position

As a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Associate at Apex Marble Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operations of our distribution center. This position involves operating forklifts and heavy equipment to load and unload materials, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will work closely with the warehouse manager and contribute to our logistics and distribution goals while adhering to OSHA standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Forklift Certification with 2-3 years minimum forklift experience.
• 3 years minimum experience in customer service/engagement.
• Experience in data entry and inventory control.
• Planning and time management skills.
• Equipment operation and maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloading Slabs, Tile & Stone from delivery trucks, checking for damage or missing items, and signing delivery notes.
• Preparing orders for shipment, loading orders onto trucks, and labeling outgoing parcels.
• Keeping records of goods, conducting stock control, and using handheld scanners to track inventory.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
