About the position

The Forklift Driver position at Exceptional Staffing LLC involves operating forklifts to manage the movement of materials and merchandise within a warehouse setting. The role is crucial for ensuring efficient storage, shipment, and inventory management, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places.
• Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Re-stocking and accepting incoming orders.
• Processing and packing orders.
• Counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 12 months of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Clean drug test.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledgeable in operating pallet jacks and electrical pallet jacks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with inspections and walkthroughs.
