About the position
The Forklift Driver position at Exceptional Staffing LLC involves operating forklifts to manage the movement of materials and merchandise within a warehouse setting. The role is crucial for ensuring efficient storage, shipment, and inventory management, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places.
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
- Restock and accept incoming orders, processing and packing orders as needed.
- Count inventory and ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner.
- Conduct inspections and walkthroughs of the work area.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 12 months of experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to pass a clean criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a clean drug test.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
- Knowledgeable in operating pallet jacks and electrical pallet jacks.
Benefits
