About the position
We are currently seeking to hire Forklift Operators, Material Handlers, and Tuggers for our operations at a Toyota Supplier location in San Antonio. The positions are available immediately, with shifts starting this week. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English and possess a stable work history. The roles require individuals who can work flexible hours, including weekends and extended shifts when necessary. Forklift Operators will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently, ensuring the timely movement of materials within the facility. Material Handlers will assist in the loading and unloading of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Tuggers will be tasked with transporting materials between different areas of the facility, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. The work environment is fast-paced, and employees must be prepared to handle physical demands associated with the roles.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials as needed.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Transport materials between different areas of the facility as a Tugger.
Requirements
- Must have a stable work history.
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating forklifts for Forklift Operators.
- Must have own transportation to commute to work.
- Ability to work weekends and up to 12-hour shifts when required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
