About the position
The Forklift Operator/Inventory Specialist will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations, including repackaging materials, moving blended materials to the packaging area, assisting with picking, shipping, receiving, and production needs, as well as conducting cycle counts and inventory investigations. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Repackaging materials and labeling them appropriately.
- Moving blended materials to the packaging area for production.
- Assisting with picking, shipping, receiving, and production needs as required.
- Conducting cycle counting of inventory.
- Performing inventory investigations.
Requirements
- Forklift certification is required.
- Experience in a GMP and cGMP environment is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Organizational skills are essential.
- Warehouse experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills are necessary.
- Ability to read and write legibly in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous warehouse/picking experience is preferred.
- Forklift certification is highly desired.
