You will be unloading inbound trailers, placing goods into appropriate storage bins, and ensuring that all materials are verified and tagged before loading them onto the designated trailers. Responsibilities
- Unload inbound trailers and place goods into appropriate storage bins/floor locations.
- Accurate documentation for goods is required upon unloading.
- Turn in completed paperwork to designated personnel after unloading.
- Locate appropriate flooring material that needs to ship.
- Check style, size, and roll number against the shipping manifest before loading.
- Load goods onto designated consignee trailer or Shaw truck after material is verified and tagged.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and verification of goods.
- Ability to work night shifts from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
